Curriculum Overview

The Academy at El-Shaddai's curriculum provides students with
21st Century language and math literacy experiences, science, social studies
learning objectives, spiritual growth, STEAM experiences, and socio-emotional
skills. Teachers prepare students to enjoy becoming lifelong learners.

Teachers use inquiry, digital opportunities, direct teaching, and hands-on
activities during their lessons.

Throughout the year, faculty and staff observe each student’s learning
style to evaluate instructional techniques and students’ development,
academically and emotionally. Teachers engage students based on their
strengths while strengthening areas of weaknesses, using all learning modalities.

In addition to instruction in core subjects for the elementary program,
faculty and staff members offer extended learning opportunities in

socio-emotional skills, the arts, and cultural awareness.

Preparing students to become global citizens is the goal.
